A atriz Tessa Thompson afirmou que seu, até então, colega de elenco Michael B Jordan dirigirá o próximo filme da franquia de "Creed", spin-off de "Rocky".

"Ele vai dirigir o próximo 'Creed', sim", afirmou a estrela de "Selma", "Men in Black International" e "Vingadores: Ultimato", em entrevista à MTV News. "Creed" contou com a direção de Ryan Coogler ("Pantera Negra") e "Creed 2" foi dirigido por Steven Caple Jr. ("Grown-ish").

Thompson e Michael B Jordan estão confirmados em "Creed 3", mas Sylvester Stallone ainda não confirmou se continuará atuando na franquia.

O filme que continua a contar a história de Adonis Johnson ainda não tem previsão de início para as filmagens, segundo a atriz. "Não vamos fazer isso até mais tarde no ano [que vem]".
